Media Education Students

Welcome Media Education students that are a part of the Cool Tool Music School Global Education Initiative.  We are excited about having all types of mass media, arts, music and social networking students taking advantage of one of the most advanced, scalable and SCORM compliant Learning Management Systems available today!  At CTMS, we have our sights set on the future of music (and all creative disciplines) education...today!

By logging into our media optimized server, you are tapped into a pure HTML5 media transcoding component that not only creates SD / HD / Ultra HD (4K) video files, but unlike any other on-line media server, we also allow uploading and processing of mp3 / 320 / 16 bit audio files, HD images (jpg & png) and single or multi-page documents (pdf).  No other media site has this much power!

The log in you were provided is a second level 256 bit encrypted media manager account that does all the heavy lifting of video conversion (FFMPEG, flv, mp4, webM and Ogg
video ) as well as Yamdi metadata handlers and mp3 / Ogg audio formats and standard image, graphics and document distillers.

HTML 5 is the new standard for content distribution.  Videos, flash based content & apps, java scripting and many other formats and scripts all are aiming toward this format to make content more cross-platform compatible for smartphones, tablets, laptops...both WIN OS, iOS and Apple OS.

The Cool Tool Music School

The Cool Tool Music School is different from a course of study.  It's not the same as a lesson.  It certainly is not always a seminar.  It's a toolbox.  Full of things that have been aquired over time...always most meaningful to the person who owns that toolbox.  Eventually, you gain a collection that form the basis of tools...widgets...gizmos...that will allow you to do just about anything.  Cool Tool can be thought of as that toolbox.  It's a collection of tricks, tips, knowledge and experience that you can just reach in and grab from.

The knowledge and training that you will walk away from will be like nothing you have experienced before.  The rulebook has been thrown out.  It's more like discovery than set curriculum, yet everythng has a purpose and every session you walk away with...well...cool tools.

The difference is:  We start by asking you 4 simple questions:

  1. What are you wanting to do?
  2. How much time are you able to commit? (small class and at home on-line time)
  3. How do you want to learn this (style of learning)?
  4. What is your budget?

Then in moments we design a simple study program to get you what you want.  You may get what you want by a simple hour-long Go To Meeting (with video) session.  You may take a two hour on-site seminar.  You may want to take one of our customized mash-ups.  What you will get is exactly the information you want...what you won't get is added information just so we can sell you a longer study.
