Nancy Roché is set to perform at the 103rd Lincoln Day Celebration this March 17th (St Patrick Day) at the Boise Centre as part of the Celebration Show.  Ms Roché is familiar not only as a top club performer, but also as having performed and produced many huge events both locally and nationally since moving here with here producer / arranger husband Tom Frazee in 1991.

"We have had the honor to be accepted into this great community because of who we are and what we have to give" Roché says "and looking back over the last 23 years we've had incredible opportunities to be a part of Boise and Idaho as performers doing what we love to do best...perform"! Celebration Show Feat. World Music Guitarist From Pamplona

The Live Celebration show features top local performers including Nancy Roche, Sandon Mayhew, Greg Belzeski as well as noted world music guitarist Toto Zara from Spain.  The Las Vegas Review Journal has written that "Zara is one of the top five finest nylon string world music guitarist to ever play in Las Vegas."

Toto comes from Pamplona, Spain (he's Basque BTW) where he and his remarkable family were a top concert act in the late 60's into the 70's.  They had a brief stop on the Top 40 charts with a Spanish song "Ertes Tu" one of only 5 foreign language songs to make the top ten on the pop charts.Besides being a preeminent guitarist, vocalist, producer,

Toto also speaks 6 languages fluently which will become evident during the show as he translates many of the spoken words of Lincoln into languages of cultures and ethnicities that came to America post civil war when our young country had proven its values, it's equality and it's prosperity was here to stay.

Keynote: Past NRA President David Keene

This year we are especially honored to have as our keynote speaker, past NRA President and now Washington Times editorialist David Keene.  During a time when the Constitution is being challenged, states rights are under attack and individual freedoms are being eroded, Mr. Keene's appearance at the 103 Ada County Lincoln Day Celebration Banquet on March 17th will be timely and informative.

103rd Ada County Lincoln Day Celebration

The Ada County Lincoln Day Association celebrates the memory and legacy of Abraham Lincoln. President Lincoln was instrumental in creating the Idaho territory and establishing the great state of Idaho.

The Association carries out an annual event that draws hundreds of people to a patriotic celebration of Lincoln and Republican principles. The event takes place on or near Presidents' Day in February. The event features a top-tier speaker and a inspiring program that celebrates Idaho and our great Republic.  The Ada County Lincoln Day Association is longest running annual event west of the Mississippi River.  The first Ada County Lincoln Day event was held in Boise in 1911.

The Association is a voluntary organization composed of selected public-spirited Republicans devoted to honoring and commemorating the memory of Abraham Lincoln.  This association is wholly non-profit in character and functions exclusively through this voluntary association.

In 1912, a group of Ada County patriots celebrated the legacy of Abraham Lincoln and the principles of the Republican Party at the first Ada County Lincoln Day Association Banquet. That tradition continues as the Ada County Lincoln Day Association celebrates its 103rd year in 2014. We are grateful for all those, past and present, who have made the event a success for an entire century.
