TTT: What Exactly Will You Learn?
Before we jump into the course syllabus, it's important to know this:
- We are end users of a technology that we have been involved with since 1984. There are times we have been on the development and beta side, but this is not our function here.
- We do not look at technology as a way to make up for lack of talent or to fix poor performance.
- It does not take jobs away from musicians but like many advancements, a working musician should have a basic skill set using the computer in music to expand their "marketability".

Teach the Teachers Technical Requirements
We want your Teach the Teachers Project to be a great educational and creative experience. We are committed to make sure as you get ready for the class, that your computer and internet connectivity are the best they can be for the course. We don't require the latest / greatest computer, operating system or industial strength internet speed, but we don't want you to be frustrated with the process due to something we can help fix prior to the class.
Our goal is to give you a set of quick, easy to use tools and training that will allow you to upgrade into any professional level software with little or no additional training. We are first, like you, professional musicians and educators. We approach the use of computers in music as a support for your creativity as an end-user, not as a developer. You can accomplish amazing results with most computers and consumer level software that is either already on the computer or that comes as part of our free software suite.
Here is a list of out-of-the-box requirements:
Getting the Video Just Right
Most crowdfunding sites place a huge importance on having a video to cut right to the purpose of the project. It's true...because we are a media oriented society and video is king. We'd like to take a moment and give a shout out to our gang that came together to support us because they also had a teacher that mentored them into their passion. To them we owe a great deal. First the video!

This Is Really Education 2.0
If you take everything you know about classroom teaching and everything you have learned about on-line distance learning and put them together into one overview...you have Education 1.0. Our revolutionary educational partnership between the teaching / practicing professionals and our online systems creates a seamless peering relationship that is much greater than the sum of it's parts...it truly is Education 2.0
To understand how our system accomplishes this, you need to start by examining the fundamental linear process of the 7 Steps of Learning, knowing that we do not consider live teaching and on-line studies an either / or process. It is actually a perfectly balanced partnership. But first, lets look at some inherent flaws.
