Nancy is accepting a limited number of students and horses in training. Her "virtual farm" name is "Harmony Farm" . Harmony best descibes what she strives to achieve with her students and their horses, as a joint endeavor. The word harmony has added meaning for Nancy, since she is an active musician and has always had a love of music.
Primarily Nancy works out of Cathy Peterson's "Mighty Blessed Stables" in Meridian. Nancy also travels on a limited basis to other locations when there are a few students in one place that wish to have a lesson on the same day. Mighty Blessed Stables is located on Wingate Lane in Meridian, Idaho, two blocks west of Eagle Rd, off of Ustick Rd. It's a humble farm nestled in suburbia, with neighborhood kids on trampolines, numerous dogs, a few foxes holding on to the last remaining bits of habitat in the area, and a whole lot of laughter. We have lovingly joked that our slogan should be . . . "The closest working Barn to Walmart". Hey, that could be a plus when you are trying to squeeze a quick ride in, plus shop for the family, eh?
We enjoy dressage, but in an entirely non-DQ way. Our tack isn't always clean, our horse's manes can be a bit long. We let our horses roll in the mud. We ride through the sprinklers on a hot summer day . . . color us wacky but our lives are rich. We can truly say we are "Mighty Blessed"!
