Our vision is guided by our capability to produce sustainable, eco-friendly, cost-effective and safely-consumed fish throughout the world through innovative state-of-the-art technologies. Our mission is to lead the industry and be the premier grower and marketer of premium quality aquaculture finfish and shellfish.

 

Concerns are arising throughout the world about the availability and quality of the food that we as a human race have to eat. World leaders and their governments have been toppled and others are experiencing significant unrest from their populations, manifested from both price increases and limited availability of food in the marketplace. 

Several Middle Eastern countries, for example, are buying hundreds of thousands of acres of farmland around the globe to grow food to be shipped home to the desert to feed their people. China is buying land in Africa for the same purpose. Currently, the United States is importing almost 90% of its seafood leading to a $24 billion annual trade deficit.

The world’s oceans are being depleted of fish at the rate of 3-7% per year causing limits and tariffs on what can be harvested from the seas.
